Overview
It is amazing how much weather information there is available to pilots today. The ability and reliability of our observation platforms, from weather stations to satellites, lets us actually see weather as it happens; And our forecasting tools and meteorologist have made the short term forecast unbelievably reliable. The challenge for pilot's today is to know what resources to use and how to effectively use them.
This course focuses on three major components of weather services; Whats available, how to decode it, and most importantly, how to interpret and apply it to your flight. Upon completion, you will know what tools to use and how to use them to make a timely and effective weather briefing.
