Overview
Technology has come a long way when it comes to inflight radar products. Pilots no longer have to fly blind in IMC, and can get a heads up on what is happening hundreds of miles down the road. Onboard radar can now clearly paint a real-time picture of what is ahead of you, helping one make better tactical decisions, and improved update rates of NEXRAD data link weather is improving one's strategic planning capabilities.
This course will cover practical radar operation, giving you the knowledge you need to know to effectively operate and utilize a range of radar systems.
