Paraglider Pilot weather

Flying a paraglider is one of the closest ways you can interact with the atmosphere. The pull of a thermal translates across your canopy and down your lines, while the pulse of rising air smacks you directly in the face and drives to the core of your senses. This highly rewarding endeavor comes with much risk to the unaware, and the poorly informed. And, too many pilots  spend wasted time para-waiting on a hill top for flyable conditions, or worse yet, chance launching into the unknown.

This course covers Practical Weather Theory and Weather Services pertinent to the paraglider pilot, and dives into Weather for Soaring Pilots. Upon completion you will have a strong understanding of the theory of soarable weather, and you will be able to make a reliable forecast using the latest tools to take advantage of the best days of the season.
